Will my data be uploaded to a server?
Most available tools process data locally in your browser, so JSON, QR codes, images, and text are not uploaded. Tools that call external services are clearly labeled. Site analytics record anonymous usage events only, never your tool input.
Is it free? Do I need to sign up?
All currently available tools are free and require no registration or sign-in. Open any tool page to start using it.
Which tools require an internet connection?
Tools such as weather lookup and online translation that call external services are clearly labeled. Unlabeled tools process data locally by default. See each tool’s processing notice or the privacy policy for details.
What exactly does local-first mean?
Your input is calculated, rendered, or exported in your browser whenever possible. We do not send tool content to our servers for processing; when an internet connection is required, the external service and its purpose are disclosed first.
